Aerial show, take-aways lead Corsairs to road win

QB Alfonso Medina found the end zone to four different receivers, while the defense withstood a running barrage by forcing 4 turnovers to lead the Corsairs to a 38-34 victory at San Bernardino Valley College.

A 19-yard strike to Ralph Gordon II starting the scoring early in the first quarter.  Donnie Duncan caught a 25-yard pass in the second quarter, but the half ended with the Wolverines leading 19-14.

The second half was a high-scoring affair, with SMC outscoring SBVC 31-14, including four straight scores to close the game.  Bryan Rivas and Aaron Jones each caught TD passes, Myles Johnson rushed for a touchdown, and defensive back Aaron Rogers sealed the deal with 40 yard interception return for a touchdown with 25 seconds left in the game.

The Corsairs return home on Saturday September 22nd vs. West LA.  Kick-off is a 1pm at Corsair Stadium.
